Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using NowUCme ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and NowUCme covering all features including proximity discovery, messaging, snaps, stories, user search, and connections.

👤 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use NowUCme. By using the App, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 13 years of age
  • You have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms
  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • All information you provide is accurate and truthful

🔐 Account Responsibilities

Creating an Account

  • A valid email address and unique username are required
  • You must verify your email via OTP before using the App
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential
  • You may not create multiple accounts or impersonate others

Account Security

  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access at support@nowucme.in
  • We are not liable for losses from unauthorized account use

📍 How NowUCme Works

Proximity Discovery

  • Enables GPS-based discovery of nearby users when toggled ON
  • Your profile (name, photo, social links) becomes visible to users in your vicinity
  • Other users see approximate distance only — never exact coordinates
  • Auto-disables after 30 minutes to preserve battery

User Search

  • You can search for any NowUCme user by name or username
  • Search is not limited to nearby users — it covers all registered users
  • Blocked users are excluded from your search results

Messaging & Snaps

  • Messaging and snaps are available only between connected users
  • Snaps are ephemeral and removed after delivery

Connections

  • Send connection requests to users you discover or find via search
  • Both parties must accept before messaging is enabled
  • You may block any user at any time to end all contact

Stories

  • Stories are visible to nearby and connected users
  • Stories expire automatically and are not permanently stored

✅ Acceptable Use

You agree to use NowUCme only for lawful purposes. You agree NOT to:

  • ❌Harass, threaten, or harm other users
  • ❌Stalk, track, or monitor users without consent
  • ❌Send unsolicited messages, spam, or promotions
  • ❌Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • ❌Use search to scrape or collect user data in bulk
  • ❌Attempt to access other users' accounts or private data
  • ❌Reverse engineer, hack, or exploit the App
  • ❌Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • ❌Violate any applicable law or regulation

📝 Content Policy

Your Content

  • You retain ownership of content you upload (profile pictures, snaps, messages)
  • You grant us a limited license to store and display your content to enable the service
  • You confirm you have the rights to any content you upload

Prohibited Content

  • Nudity, sexually explicit material, or pornography
  • Hate speech, discrimination, or incitement to violence
  • Illegal activity or promotion of illegal acts
  • Content that infringes intellectual property rights
  • Content involving or exploiting minors in any way

🔒 Privacy & Data

Your use of NowUCme is governed by the Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to:

  • Collection of location data when Discover Mode is enabled
  • Display of your profile to nearby users or users who search for you
  • Storage of your account information, messages, and social links
  • Receiving service-related emails (verification, security alerts)

⛔ Termination

Your Rights

  • Delete your account anytime via Settings → Danger Zone
  • All your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days

Our Rights

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
  • Harass or harm other users
  • Abuse the App's features (e.g., spam connections or messages)

⚠️ Disclaimers

As-Is Service

NowUCme is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service.

Location Accuracy

GPS may not always be precise. We are not liable for location errors.

Third-Party Links

We are not responsible for content on external social media platforms linked from profiles.

User Interactions

You interact with other users at your own risk. NowUCme is not liable for disputes, harassment, or harm between users.

🛡️ Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NowUCme and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, privacy breaches caused by other users, or inability to use the App — arising from your use of the service.

🤝 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NowUCme from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any law or third-party rights
  • Content you upload, share, or send
  • Your interactions with other users

⚖️ Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala, India.

📝 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms as the App evolves. Significant changes will be communicated in the App with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
